OPERATIONAL PLAN
The proposed Antique Medical Center is envisioned to rise within the second quarter of 2008 at a 1-hectare lot owned by the Aguillon family to be negotiated by SAC for acquisition. This site is only 300 meters from the main campus along the national highway which will be very visible to commuters plying the Iloilo-Antique route. This site is very accessible to both the northern and southern towns of Antique.
The project implementation is subdivided into three (3) tranches:
First tranche to develop the 100-beds capacity tertiary hospital equipped with modern and state-of-the-art equipment and amenities which was roughly estimated to cost Php 220 million;
Second and third tranches to construct additional 50-beds patient’s rooms for each phase, costing Php 57 million in phase 2 and Php 45 million in phase 3.
While the technical requirements and Detailed Engineering Design shall be prepared by a technical consultant, the civil works will be done by a highly qualified contractor in accordance with the requirements of the Bureau of Health Facilities and Services of DOH, taking into consideration the highest standards of safety, comfort, economy, a customer-friendly facility and most of all, environmental considerations.
